around the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps district. As you walk
east and south east through tight lanes, hotels near the Trevi Fountain
begin to open up.
The four star hotels stretch from the medieval centre of Rome with
its narrow streets around the Spanish Steps up the Via Venito hill
to the open spaces and greenery of the Villa Borghese.
Up the Via Veneto things become much more spread out and elegant,
but just as exclusive.

area around Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps are a honeycomb of
small streets, the old medieval part of the city. The default way
to get about is by foot.
Walking west its a short walk to the Pantheon and then across the
river to the Vatican. All in all, the must see attractions are at
your fingertips, easily walkable if you stay in this area.
