Fiumicino Airport

Airport Hotels There is only one airport hotel, the Hilton where you can walk to the passenger terminals. All the other airport hotel options require use of the hotel shuttle.
Rome Airport Train There is an excellent dedicated airport train called the Leonardo Express that shuttles between Fiumicino Airport and Termini Station in central Rome. Trains run every 30 minutes.
Rome Terravision Airport Bus The cheapest transfer between Fiumicino Airport and Rome city centre is by bus. Terravision operate a regular dedicated airport bus service running the same route as the more expensive Leonardo Express train service.
Rome SIT Airport Bus SIT run in direct competition with Terravision providing a standard bus service to Termini Station in the centre of Rome. Unlike Terravision SIT also drop and pick up near Vatican City.
Rome Alitalia Airport Bus Alitalia run an exclusive bus service reserved just for passengers flying wih Alitalia themselves. Otherwise its a slightly more expensive version of Terravision with the main terminus in Rome being Termini Station.
Rome City Centre By Car Rome city taxi's are regulated with a stipulated fare between the airport and within the city walls. The alternative is a private car with English speaking driver who will meet you in the terminal.
Rome City Centre Hotel Shuttle A classic shared shuttle service between the airport and hotels in Rome in a small bus/van with multiple drops, providing a transfer solution priced somewhere between public transport and a taxi/private car
Civitavecchia Cruise Port Civitavecchia is about an hours drive north up the coast from Rome's main airport Fiumicino. Here we lay out the options for those independently minded who want to organise their own transfer either by train or vehicle.
Fiumicino To/From Ciampino There is no regular, direct public transport between Rome's two airports Fiumicino & Ciampino. It is possible to make the transfer using public transport with a change along the way. You can also book a private car.

Rome City Centre By Direct Bus There are two bus lines competing head to head between Ciampino and Rome's Termini Station in the centre of Rome.
Both are dedicated airport buses, not stopping local buses
Rome City Centre By Metro The Rome Metro doesn't come out all the way to Ciampino Airport, but there is a local bus that shuttles between the airport and the nearest Metro Station to the airport.
