There is little in the way of purpose built, modern blocks. The exception are the two Adagio Aparthotels. These are in the suburbs of Rome, but the upside here is freely available parking, spacious grounds with gardens and facilities like a swimming pool. Both are a short distance from public transport that will quickly get you into the centre.
