Transferring between Fiumicino & Ciampino Airports
Rome Fiumicino Airport is Rome's main airport found to the west of Rome close to the coast. Ciampino Airport is to the south east of Rome.
Fiumicino and Ciampino Airports are 31km (19 miles) apart, on a good day with no traffic congestion a journey of 30 minutes by car.
Unfortunately for those wanting to transfer between both airports there is no direct public transport between the two airports. If you want a direct transfer you will need to take a taxi or advance purchase private car transfer.
