One moment you’re walking along the narrow lanes of the ancient city of Rome, then without warning the Trevi Fountain is in front of you.
Yes its a bit of a tourist trap with lots of people selling tourist tat, but for all that its a very worthwhile experience.
The kind of place the world weary traveller might think they’ll just stay 5 minutes and get a picture but end up staying much longer.
A great place to people watch, write that letter back home and just generally relax and take it all in slowly.
