Bed and Breakfast accommodation near Termini Station is mostly just south of the station. Streets are on a grid pattern here and are busy. There is a wide range of hotels here but budget hotel accommodation predominates in the area. There is a good choice of restaurants in the area to suit all tastes and pockets. The station is a good place for those odd items you need and includes a largish supermarket - a rarity in central Rome.

Termini is a very good strategic location to have your bed and breakfast accommodation in Rome. The Colosseum and historic centre is walkable from here.
Rome Bed & Breakfast Districts Termini Station is the main transport hub in Rome City Centre. The two metro lines intersect here and the main central bus station is in front of the terminus. Termini is also the terminus of most long distance trains out of Rome on the Italian rail network. Trains to Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) airport also run from the station.
The station is quite a modern affair with lots of shops, travel agencies, fast food, even a supermarket on several levels.

The area to the north of the station is full of monuments and comparatively spread out. The area around Piazza Republicca, just north of the station is mainstream tourist.

Breakfast varies quite a lot from place to place. Room rates are cheaper away from Termini Station, the Testa Gioacchino is quite a distance but has lots of good transport links and arguable better value for money.
