Hotel accommodation in Rome EUR offers economic accommodation with a fast metro link into the city centre. Trains from Fiumicino Airport stop at Ostiense which is twinned with Pyramide metro station. The metro starts at EUR and travels up through Ostiense, Colosseum and Termini Station. At Termini, you can switch lines for Spanish Steps and Vatican City.

Buses are available to the centre but traffic makes this much slower.
One word of caution, the Metro service stops at around 22:00.

From Piramide there are trams and buses over to Trastevere, a good place to go in the evening for a meal and a leisurely stroll afterwards.
